Job Description
The Finance Executives will support the Head of Department in financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, tax matters and corporate reporting.

Job Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate day-to-day finance and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury activities, taxation, and financial compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, tax regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, financial due diligence exercises, and regulatory submissions.
- Support corporate tax compliance, including tax planning, tax filings, and Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation in collaboration with appointed tax consultants.
- Support the preparation of Board papers, financial governance documents, and presentations for senior management and Board meetings.
- Prepare financial analysis, monthly management reports, departmental reports, and other financial information for HOD review and submission.
- Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and digitalisation projects to enhance operational efficiency within the Finance function.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties, including auditors, tax consultants and government agencies.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise team members while fostering a high-performance culture within the department.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, preferably with experience handling finance assignments independently.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, MIA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, Malaysian tax regulations, and corporate governance practices.
- Strong exposure to statutory audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in the preparation of Board papers, management reports, and presentations for senior management and the Board.
- Proficient in ERP and accounting systems (experience with SAP will be an added advantage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound professional judgement, and manage complex finance assignments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good interpersonal and team coordination skills with the ability to guide and support team members.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Experience in corporate taxation, Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation, and tax planning will be an added advantage
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
