Job Description
Train drivers are responsible to ensure safe operation of trains on Main Line and Depot area, prepare trains for service by carrying out specified checks.
Salary Range
RM1,700 - RM1,800 [excluding shift allowance and OT]
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares trains for service by carrying out specified checks
- Ensure safe operations of trains
- Ensure when trains are ready to depart safely from platforms
- Driving train and shunting locomotive on mainline and depot safely
- Reports to Operations Control Centre (OCC) of any occurrences, which may affect normal operations
- Carries out operational procedures required for Degraded Operation and Emergency Operation
- Obeys operational order from the Operations Shift Supervisor (OTS) and OCC
- Carries out safe train and provides courteous and prompt service to customers
- To ensure no unauthorised person/s on board driver’s cab
- Overall in charge for evacuation of passengers in the train during emergency
- Attend all meetings and trainings specified by the department and company from time to time
Job Requirement
- Age Requirements: Between 19 to 40 years old
- Physical Requirements: Minimum 158 cm of height with proportionate weight
- Qualification: SPM [Pass English], Certificate or any relevant Diploma
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia [Spoken & Written]
- Willing to work on rotating shifts
- Relevant working experience and computer literacy would be an added advantage
